Full Description

{2} Archaeological evaluation undertaken in 2017 has found evidence of a probable Roman field system comprising shallow ditches/gullies aligned north-south and a possible trackway. A single fragment of Roman pottery was recovered from one of the ditches. Three postholes on the side of the trackway may represent structural remains.
