Full Description

{1} Archaeological OIRAP was undertaken during the construction of two semi-detached dwellings at 11 Old Town. Six pits were revealed during the groundworks, which due to the constraints of the groundworks were not fully exposed. Pottery from one of the pits dated to the 12th to 14th centuries and likely relates to domestic activity. Two further pits were likely to be from the same period, while the remainder were of a more recent origin.
