Summary
A three storey shoe factory stands gable-on to the south side of Prince Street, with an east elevation to an unnamed lane linking Prince and Queen Streets. It was originally a small building, probably built c1880, comprising the five bays at the Prince Street end. Probably shortly after 1899 the factory was extended southwards to the back-alley forming the end of the plot. Now converted into residential usage with an extra storey added

{1} Three-storey shoe factory of circa 1880. Stands gable-on to the south side of Prince Street. Originally a small building comprising five bays at the Prince Street end. Extended by a further five bays to the south in c1899.
