Full Description

{1} Three-storeyed, six-bay factory characterised by an unusually tall ground floor and irregular fenestration to the second floor, features which may suggest that it was not a conventional shoe factory. The exterior is rendered but the openings, for the most part, are original. To the rear there is a two-storeyed projection, shown on the 1899 OS map and probably original. A two-storeyed lean-to against the east gable was added after 1899. The sills differ and there are no iron frames. Behind it is a 20th-century single-storeyed range.
