Summary
To the rear of 48 King Street, a conventional two-storeyed house with a domestic rear range, there are two small well-lit ranges with the charecteristics of shoemakers' workshops fronting North Road to the east. A single storeyed range is attatched to the house and attatched to this is a further two storey range. Both were built in the 1890s.
