Full Description

{1} Archaeological observation undertaken during the excavation of a service trench on open ground immediately to the north-west of Apethorpe Hall uncovered the base of a small drystone wall aligned east-west, parallel with its north range. No dating evidence was found. The wall does
not appear on any Ordnance Survey maps and its date remains something of a mystery.
