{1} 1086 One mill rendering 13s 4d and another rendering 16d so presumably an animal worked mill.
12th century Mill granted to Sulby Abbey
1649 Water corn mill leased to William Hudsonn (sic.), miller
1664 Mill conveyed by Thomas Andrews to John Clarke and Henry Hemington
1864 Mill for sale
1885 Last known miller was Thomas Coleman (By 1889 he and his son were at Woodford Upper Mill)
1920 Demolished by 1920
Because of later housing development, access to the site is limited. No upstanding buildings, but there may be underground evidence of this mill since there is considerable garden space around the dwellings erected in its vicinity.
