Full Description

{1} 1086 Domesday survey records Haringworde with one mill rendering 5s.
1847-51 William Addison, miller, Harringworth.
1851 After this date there is no record of a miller here in census returns or trade directories.

There is no upstanding building. The bridge across the river at the end of the track from the Harringworth-Wakerley road is comparatively recent as are the abutments. Local information is that some stonework of the mill remains south of the river and immediately east of the bridge but at the time of the visit this area was covered with natural vegetation.
