Summary
A mill is recorded at Domesday in 1086 at Sudborough. There are only rare references to the mill in medieval and post-medieval sources and by 1920 it was described as 'quite gone'. A modern house, known as Mill House, may stand on the site of the mill.

{1} 1086 Domesday survey records Sutberg with one rendering 6s.
1478 John Adcock received the watermill from the Lord of the manor who was to repair the waterwheel at his own expense before Adcock took over.
1762 John Fox, miller.
1883 Reference to Sudborough Mill in report of an accident involving a wagon at Sudborough.
1920 Described as 'Quite gone'.
Eyre's 1779 map, survey plan for OS of 1821 and Bryant's 1827 map all mark the mill, but un-named.
An external inspection in August 2001 revealed no evidence of the mill. A modern house stands alongside a small weir indicating it may be on the site of the mill.
