Full Description

{1} Cropmarks of a ring ditch within a partial rectilinear enclosure centred at SP 6793 5160, possibly later prehistoric in date. The ring ditch has a diameter of c.15m and may be the remains of a Bronze Age round barrow. Further ditches and adjacent spread of pits to the west of the enclosures can also be seen on aerial photographs taken in 2013 by English Heritage as part of the Reconnaissance Recording Programme. The cropmark remains of medieval ridge and furrow can be seen in the northern half of the field.
