Full Description

{1} The cropmark of a possible Neolithic long barrow is visible on HE Reconnaissance aerial photographs taken on 15th August 2008. This is situated to the east of Woodford Halse at SP 5546 5266. The possible long barrow is defined by a small enclosure with a curvilinear western side. The western side may be open, however, this is hard to discern due the the direction of modern ploughing which runs perpendicular the the northern and southern sides.
