Full Description

{1} Clipston War Memorial consists of a central square sectioned stone obelisk with symmetrical stone benches to the front and rear. The obelisk has a single wreath in relief on the south face
and a decorative band carved around the top. Wording incised into the stone obelisk commemorates, and is an important reminder of, those from the village who were killed during the
First and Second World Wars. It also gives thanks to those who served and returned although they are not individually named. The memorial was erected in 1921
