Full Description

{1} A level 2 building recording survey was carried out of two redundant farm buildings prior to conversion. The northern building, the barn, was probably built in the 18th century and appears on a map of 1793. It was built against a pre-existing boundary wall and was kof fairly poor construction, requiring strengthening with four ties, probably when it was re-roofed in the 19th century. To the south, a cart shed was present by the late 19th century. It was originally open-fronted, but more recently the front has been boarded up to form a storage building. Both buildings are constructed of limestone with clay tile roofs.
