An archaeological watching brief undertaken during the construction of a replacement water main identified a truncated pit or posthole from which four sherds were recovered.

Full Description

{1} An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during the construction of a replacement water main between the reservoirs at Dodford and Borough Hill. A truncated pit or posthole was identified. The fill contained four sherds of Iron Age pottery. A further undated feature was found 100m to the east and may be the same date.
