Full Description

{1} Archaeological excavation ahead of residential development identified a small pit which contained charred human bone and is interpreted as a cremation burial. The bone was radiocarbon dated to 1416-1260 cal BC (3070BP +/-30, Beta-601920), the middle Bronze Age. The age or sex of the individual could not be determined due to the degree of fragmentation of the bone.
