Monument record 1296/1/13 - Dispersed Site 3, Chelveston Airfield

The Second World War dispersed communal Site 3 for RAF Chelveston was visible on historical aerial photographs. It was originally the social and communal quarters for the airmen working at the airfield prior to the USAAF taking over in 1942. Two buildings remain extant, along with the emergency water supply tank. The site is used as an industrial estate.

Site 3 is centred at SP 99527 66908 and was originally the social and communal quarters for the airmen working at the airfield prior to the USAAF taking over in 1942.
