Full Description

{1} Whilst the front elevation to this building is imposing it has undergone a number of alterations that detract from its architectural quality. This, combined with the plainess of the rear of the building, the interior and the later extentions mean that it does not fulfil the requirements for listing.

{2} The Post Office is by A R Myers of the Office of Works, 1915-16 in a Palladian style.
