Full Description
{1] Targeted trial trench excavation identified features in eight trenches associated with a trapezoidal enclosure defined by the geophysical survey. An additional trench was positioned inside the enclosure to target possible internal features. The distribution of the features identified in the trenches suggest a double- or even triple-ditched enclosure. Only two sherds of Roman pottery were found. Only an undated pit or treebole was identified in the interior trench.
