Summary
A possible irregular shaped enclosure is visible on aerial photographs located to the west of Newton Bromswold. It measures roughly 24metres across with a gap on its southeast side. Its proximity to other cropmark enclosures [5338/1] suggests that it may also represent a late Prehistoric settlement enclosure.

Full Description
{1} A possible irregular shaped enclosure is visible on aerial photographs and was mapped as part of the Bedford Borough NMP project. The enclosure is located west of Newton Bromswold and is centred at SP 98870 65566. It measures roughly 24metres across with a gap on its southeast side. Its proximity to other cropmark enclosures [HER 5338/1] suggests that it may also represent a late Prehistoric settlement enclosure.
