Monument record 1296/1/14 - Dispersed Site 4, Chelveston Airfield

The Second World War dispersed Site 4 for RAF Chelveston was visible on historical aerial photographs. It was originally the accommodation quarters for the airmen working at the airfield prior to the USAAF taking over in 1942. No buildings remain extant, though the road through the site and some building footings are visible.

Site 4 is centred at SP 99001 67238 and was originally the accommodation quarters for the airmen working at the airfield prior to the USAAF taking over in 1942. No buildings remain extant, though the road through the site and some building footings are visible.
