An area of probable Iron Age settlement has been identified.

Full Description

{1} Geophysical survey identified two small rectilinear enclosures, and possible associated features, on the edge of the survey area.

{2} Iron Age was identified in the southern part of Field 8. The trenches identified several curvilinear ditches, possibly from roundhouses or small enclosures. Further possible enclosure or boundary ditches were also identified. Small quantities of Iron Age pottery were recovered from some of the features.
