Full Description

{1} Archaeological observation during the construction of an extension to Castle House identified a post-medieval ditch, either agricultural or a property boundary. The foundations of a stone wall were also found. It was undated although it lay on a different alignment to present buildings. A cobbled surface may be the remnants of an old yard surface related to demolished farm buildings.
