Summary
The cropmarks of possible Iron Age or Roman enclosure can be seen on aerial photographs. This ditch-defined enclosure is partly obscured by geological cropmarks. The cropmark is clearer on 2006 Google Earth aerial photography and shows an enclosure that measures approximately 44m by 40m. The faint cropmarks of possible smaller enclosures to the south can also be seen on the 2014.

Full Description
{1} The cropmarks of possible Iron Age or Roman enclosure can be seen on HE Reconnaissance aerial photographs taken on 4th March 2014. This ditch-defined enclosure is located at TL 0529 7780, although it is partly obscured by geological cropmarks. The cropmark is clearer on 2006 Google Earth aerial photography and shows an enclosure that measures approximately 44m by 40m. The western side is straight, the southern and northern sides curve slightly and the eastern side follows a double curve. The faint cropmarks of possible smaller enclosures to the south can also be seen on the 2014 aerial photographs although nothing is visible on those taken in 2006.
