{1} Now residences.
{2} Soon after the first cottage home opened at No 159 High Street in 1897 [1966/0/28] it was recognised that more room to house children was required. Two new semi-detached homes were built by Alfred Lewis of Isham at a cost of £1539 to designs by Gotch and Saunders. All the cottage homes were auctioned on 6th April 1923, although the two new buildings were withdrawn temporarily.
