Full Description

{1} Owners Dallington Iron Ore Co Ltd., from 1859 for a short period of time only. It was stated as being near to Dallington Mill on the east side of the Northampton and Market Harborought Railway. Properly speaking this not Dallington Mill but Kingsthorpe Upper Mill now demolished. The site lies about three quarters of a mile south of Boughton Crossing on the south side of the public footpath. The site was very small and seems doubtful that a tramway was built with the LNWR line so close. In 1984-6 the area was built upon.
