Full Description

{1} Former Barclays Bank, originally the Stamford and Spalding Bank, built by Charles Dorman in 1888. In a Classical style with Ionic pilasters, round-arched windows and two Palladian doorways. The three-bay adjoining extension to the north was constructed by Rex Bryan & Pennock in 1971.

{2} This was formerly the location of the Gaoler's/Governor's house and entrance to the Gaol constructed in the mid-19th century.
