Full Description

{1} Archaeological evaluation followed by a watching brief identified a ditch aligned aproximately north-west to south-east which was traced for c25m. Medieval pottery dating the 13th century was recovered from the ditch as well as a fragment of a silver coin, probably 10th-11th century. Overlying the ditch and broadly following the same alignment was the remains of a wall. It was undated but probably dates to the post-medieval period.
