Full Description
{1} Two storey factory of eight gabled ranges facing west onto Cherry Street. To the south it presents a brick parapeted façade to High Street. The High Street front has five bays of Critall-type windows with concrete lintels and tile sills. It has a central entrance with a goods entrance to the west. The 1926 map shows the site outlined but not shaded, which map indicate that it was under construction. The association of this site with the boot and shoe industry is conjectural.
