Full Description
{1} 'Printing Works' shown on 1924 Ordnance Survey map. Kelly's Directory of 1940 lists it as 'Clarke & Sherwell Ltd, printers, Kingsthorpe Rd'. A single storey printing works, consisting of eight north-lit ranges of varying length, gabled east-west, stands on the west side of Kingsthorpe Road and the north side of Thornton Road. The north lights incorporate unusual dormer windows. Openings in the south elevation are original, as are the doors.
