Full Description
{1} No datestone. Said to have been built by Sir Edward Dryden in the early 18th century as a small pavilion or deer larder and enlarged by Sir Henry Dryden in the 19th century when he had it converted to a game keeper's cottage. In sight of the main house, which may explain some its peculiarities.
{2} First built as a deer or game larder. Being a tower-like structure with a distinctively-shaped pointed roof. Built from ironstone and Welsh slate. Local list candidate.
