Full Description

{1} The Old Forge Building is an elongated, single-storey building, probably of early 19th century date, that stands gable-end on to Main Street, directly adjacent to the footway. It is of single-storey height, with a hipped roof and tall brick chimney, indicating that it formerly had a non-domestic use.
The cobbled yard surface on its north side contributes to its historic character.
