Summary
This building, now a detached fragment, was part of J Sears & Co's True Form Boot Factory. It was built circa 1925 and has four storeys and nine steel-framed bays, extended by three bays before 1938. Now converted to apartments, only the facade survives.

Full Description
{1} The 1920s extension of the Sears & Co True Form Factory which now survives only as a façade onto Stimpson Avenue. It was designed by the architect F H Allen and constructed using the system adopted by the Manchester-based British Reinforced Concrete Engineering Co Ltd. The main block consisted of nine bays, faced in orange brick on a blue brick base and rose through four storeys.
