Summary

Two-storey shoe on the south side of Spencer Parade with a long west frontage to Villa Lane. Likely to have been built in 1890s and possibly the location for John Cave & Sons in 1896. Constructed of roughly coursed limestone rubble with red brick quoins. At the south end of the Villa Lane frontage is a wide taking-in doorway with a wrought-iron crane.

Full Description

{1} Two-storey shoe on the south side of Spencer Parade with a long west frontage to Villa Lane. Likely to have been built in 1890s and possibly the location for John Cave & Sons in 1896. Constructed of roughly coursed limestone rubble with red brick quoins. At the south end of the Villa Lane frontage is a wide taking-in doorway with a wrought-iron crane.
