Monument record 3980/0/55 - Rodewell House
Please read our guidance about the use of Northamptonshire Historic Environment Record data.
Summary
Rodewell House is a substantial two-storey double-pile house built to the east of the extension to the Crispin boot and shoe works. It has a three-bay central-entry north front but the western bay rises to a gable and incorporates a two-storey canted bay-window. There is a single storey canted bay window to the east of the entrance. The painted stone decoration on the front of the house broadly matches that on the office of the Crispin Works. The entrance has pilasters, simple imposts and a moulded semicircular head with the name 'Rodewell House' either side if the keystone. On the gable there is a tablet with the inscription 'SS 1902'. To the sides and rear the house is plainer.
