Summary
A 17th century house situated on the eastern side of Church Street. The house is constructed of coursed rubble with a double pitch Collyweston slate roof. Now demolished.

Full Description
{1} No. 28 (Fig. 73), two storeys, mullioned windows, class 5, late 17th-century, converted to two dwellings in the 19th century. Pantry next to stairs had splat baluster ventilation grille. Before 1836 used as the parish workhouse (Mercury, 12 Aug. 1836). Demolished 1976.
{2} The site of a 17th century house. The house is constructed of coursed rubble with a double pitch Collyweston slate roof. At the time of survey (August 1976) the building was derelict.
