Cropmarks of a large rectangular ditched enclosure c.65m across, possibly a settlement enclosure of Iron Age, Roman or Medieval date which traces of an inernal enclosure or sub-division located to the south of Hemington Lodge. This can be seen on aerial photographs taken in 2015 as part of the Historic England Reconnaissance Recording programme.

{1} Cropmarks of a large rectangular ditched enclosure c.65m across, possibly a settlement enclosure of Iron Age, Roman or Medieval date with traces of an inernal enclosure or sub-division located to the south of Hemington Lodge. This can be seen centred at TL 0979 8423 on aerial photographs taken in 2015 as part of the Historic England Reconnaissance Recording programme.
