Summary

An early 19th century house known as Virginia Cottage situated on the northern side of the Main Road. The building is on a north to south axis with a gable fronting the Main Road to the south. The building is constructed of coursed rubble and ashlar with a double pitch cement tile roof with ridge and gable chimney stacks. Local villagers say it was originally a cobblers shop.
