Full Description

{1} A level 2 building recording survey was undertaken of a small outbuilding to the rear of 158 Watling Street during renovation and rebuilding. The building was in a dangerous state, with the roof partially collapsed, so only a basic record was made. It is a single storey building, built of a mixture of stone types, sizes and finishes indicating that it was constructed largely of recycled materials. There is much 20th century rebuilding. Dendrochronological dating was not attempted since the roof timbers were not suitable.
