Summary

North Lawn at Apethorpe Hall. Area earth resistance survey carried out over the north lawn at Apethopre Hall revealed three small structures that may date from the late medieval period onwards. They may be evidence of the remians of the shrunken medieval village.

Full Description

{1} Although no highly obvious evidence of remains the shrunken medieval village (Linford 2005, 7) were located, a group of possible structures may have been present in the north of the Lawn towards the centre of Apethorpe. Such structures may date from the late medieval period onwards.
