Full Description

{1} Around 40 sherds of Roman pottery, mainly dating to the 2nd to 4th centuries AD, was found during fieldwalking along a public footpath. The pottery includes sherds of Nene Valley Ware, Shelly Ware, mortaria, Greyware, an Oxfordshire mortarium sherd and Black Burnished ware.
