Full Description
{1} This two-storey workshop is built on a long, thin plot on the west side, and to the rear, of 39 Regent Street, a two storey, two-bay terraced house. The workshop is dated 1891 and was clearly constructed after the house as its east wall cuts across the stone surround to the house entrance.
The workshop is built of red brick (the Regent Street elevation now rendered), with blue brick sills and cast-iron window frames. The six-bay range extending to the rear appears to have been built in two phases of three bays, eventually connecting a small workshop at the rear of the plot with the house.
