Summary

A probable leather works on the south side of Havelock Street. The three remaining buildings are built of brick with slate covered roofs. Ordnance Survey maps and other evidence, suggest that they were built circa 1890.

Full Description

{1} 86-104 Havelock Street consists of ranges built around a yard on the south side of Havelock Street. Past occupiers have not been firmly identified for the site, which has the characteristics of a leather factory. The earliest buildings are the ranges forming the southern and eastern sides of the yard, both of which appear on the 1899 OS map.
