Full Description
{1} Saxon site (SP 90446252), immediately S.W. of the village, on limestone at 68m above OD. An occupation site, said to be of mid Saxon date, has been found here, together with pits and other features (local inf.).
{2} This area was assessed as part of the Bedford Borough NMP aerial survey project. No features as described above were visible on any of the available aerial photographs.
