{1} Flint working site (SP 750699),S of the village,on Northampton Sand at 125m above OD.Worked flints described as being of Mesolithic and Bronze Age type have been discovered.These included two arrowheads,31 scrapers,nearly 100 waste flakes and 29 cores.

Saxon settlement (?) (SP 750699),found at a flint working site.Early Saxon pottery is recorded. [Inf David Hall]
