{1, 2} Linear features approximately 90m south of Mountmill Cottages, Wicken, Northamptonshire
Linear features of uncertain date is/are visible on historic aerial photographs as levelled earthworks and cropmarks and were mapped as part of Historic England’s North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project. Located approximately 90m south of Mountmill Cottages, Wicken, Northamptonshire, and centred at SP 76188 38359. Cropmarks of linear features, some of which may form enclosures, are visible on aerial photographs. One of the features may be a levelled earthwork in 1946 but modern land use has levelled the field. Similar features are recorded nearby MNN6534 and MNN3188. These cropmarks are on a small area of Superficial Deposits sand and gravel overlying Lias Group siltstone and mudstone.
