Full Description
{1, 2} A linear feature and macula of uncertain date are visible on historic aerial photographs as cropmarks and were mapped as part of Historic England’s North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project. Located approximately 250m east of Sparrow Lodge, Wicken, Northamptonshire, and centred at SP 75349 38804. The linear feature is L-shaped and is 27x56m and may be part of a subrectangular enclosure; a subcircular macula approximately 5m across is visible inside the linear feature. Further linear cropmarks and maculae are visible approximately 250m to the north east (see NEW), on the same Superficial Deposits of Glaciofluvial Gravels overlying Blisworth Limestone solid geology
