{1} Owner from 1867 W.B.Stopfold (landowner) from 1869 Islip Iron Ore Co. from 1873 Islip Iron Co.Ltd.,from 1875 Islip Iron Co.Ltd reconstructed 8th August 1903, from 1932 Stewarts & Lloyds Ltd and from 1950 Stewarts & Lloyds Minerals Ltd until closure on 29th October 1952. This the next quarrying complex of mines,ironstone and limestone workings within in this company. These workings are all close to the Islip Ironworks, the A604 Kettering & Thrapston road and the Midland Railway. Work started just north of the Slipton road in 1877 and finally closed in about 1931.
