Full Description

{1} Enclosures of uncertain date are visible on historic aerial photographs as extant cropmarks; they were not mapped in detail as the photograph they are visible on was not included in the loan for North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304), they were not visible on Google Earth or other photographs included in the project. They are Located on the south side of Park Copse, Wicken Park, Wicken, and centred at SP 74009 38138. A large subcircular enclosure with smaller, internal sub circular enclosures; a further subcircular enclosure is visible a short distance away. Similar features are visible and recorded approximately 1km to the south (see MBC22623).
