Drainage ditches of post medieval/modern date are visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data

{1-3} Drainage ditches of post medieval/modern date are visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as earthworks and were mapped as part of Historic England’s North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project. Located in Bedlam Copse, Wicken, and centred at SP 75237 38009. Ridge and furrow earthworks remain within the woodland and have been cut by later drainage ditches. Fieldwalking as part of the Whittlewood Project recorded concentrations of medieval pottery around Bedlam Coppice.
