Full Description
{1} A garden house was built to the south-east of the hall in the early 18th century. The garden house and adjacent wall are constructed of coursed rubble, although the house is faced in ashlar. It has a flat parapetted front wall with short square-chanelled quoins. The door has square-chanelled rusticated Tuscan pilasters supporting a pulvinated frieze, huge triple keys and a triangular pediment. The flanking windows also have rusticated jambs, moulded sills and triple keystones. The flanking garden wall is swept up to meet the sides of the garden house.
