Full Description

{1} A garden house was built to the south-east of the hall in the early 18th century. The garden house and adjacent wall are constructed of coursed rubble, although the house is faced in ashlar. It has a flat parapetted front wall with short square-chanelled quoins. The door has square-chanelled rusticated Tuscan pilasters supporting a pulvinated frieze, huge triple keys and a triangular pediment. The flanking windows also have rusticated jambs, moulded sills and triple keystones. The flanking garden wall is swept up to meet the sides of the garden house. Inside, each side wall has a round-headed niche.
